We built PyPaper because we were tired of LaTeX.
Converting a Jupyter Notebook to PDF shouldn't require installing a 4GB LaTeX distribution just to find out your Vietnamese fonts are broken and your code is cut off.
The 4GB Problem
Standard `nbconvert` relies on XeLaTeX to generate PDFs. This means if you want to convert a simple 10-line notebook, you have to download gigabytes of dependencies.
Worse yet, standard LaTeX engines have notoriously poor support for CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and Vietnamese characters out of the box. You end up spending hours configuring preamble files just to see your native language.
The Cloud Solution
We reimagined the pipeline from the ground up. PyPaper uses a headless, cloud-native Chromium engine designed specifically for rendering HTML and MathJax into perfect PDFs.
- 100% Cloud-based. Zero setup.
- Perfect Vietnamese & Unicode rendering.
- Automatic Code Wrapping (no more cut-off text).
